I specialize in writing custom applications to help you optimize your time and to finally put your computer to work. I can assist you in speeding up routine tasks and increasing the accuracy of error prone tasks.

Background

Atkinson Computer Consulting is the name that I go by when I do extra work for money. When I'm not at my full time job, I find interesting projects that help me improve my skills.

I program in C#, C++, LotusScript, PHP, PowerBasic, REALbasic, Visual Basic, and recently I have had to dust off my Java skills. I also program in Microsoft Office applications from Office 97 to Office 2007.

Experience

I am an application programmer with 28+ years experience in application and systems programming. I started out doing graphics programming at SAC headquarters at Offutt Air Force Base. in Omaha NE. I worked on mission planning software for B-52's and cruise missiles. I have been working at the Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant for the last 23 years.

I started working on PC's before the IBM PC was available, and I have been doing Windows programming since 1990. I currently work with Apache, and IIS web servers.
